A Garden in the Clouds. French Discipline. Lanna Soul.

Chiang Mai is Asia’s best-kept culinary secret—a high-altitude terroir where mountain mist meets a fertile, cool-climate ecosystem. It is here, in the "Garden in the Clouds" specifically cultivated for our vision, that Chef Olivier Elzer found the inspiration for Le Manoir Botanica. We do not import what the Thai soil can provide; we refine it through the lens of French haute cuisine.

Smart casual indoor and outdoor dining unfolds across open-air terraces, hidden garden courtyards, and forest-facing decks that step down into the estate's natural typography, offering an unfiltered connection to the mountain air and evening birdsong.

The Tasting Journey

Indoor dining within the restored Lanna manor house feels intimate, warm, and respectful of heritage bones. Rich materials, hand-finished detailing, and architectural lighting frame verdant gardens through floor-to-ceiling openings, ensuring nature remains an active participant throughout the journey.

Bistro & Fine Dining

GROWER + FORAGER ECOSYSTEM

Our menu relies on a symbiotic network of mountain foragers and specialised growers who harvest wild botanicals and heirloom crops at their absolute nutritional and flavorful peak.

TERROIR TO TABLE

THAI-FOCUSED SOURCING

We bypass industrial supply chains to partner directly with local producers, ensuring every ingredient reflects the authentic mineral profile and vibrant heritage of Northern Thailand’s diverse landscapes.

SEASONALITY GOVERNS MENU

Nature dictates our kitchen's rhythm; we embrace the micro-seasons of the highlands, allowing the shifting mist and sun to transform our gastronomic offerings throughout the calendar year.

PRIVATE DINING & BESPOKE EVENTS

Our venue intentionally exists in quiet juxtaposition. French haute cuisine and internationally sourced masterpieces unfold within a setting grounded by raw stone, aged timber, botanical landscapes, and the softened atmosphere of the northern highlands.
